- In addition to my two girls I have two dogs that are like my other 2 kids. Golden Retrievers are the best.
- My hubby says I add too many spices when I cook. He says my philosophy of "the more the better" does not apply to spicing food.
- I love scuba diving but haven't been in many years.
- I've hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim.

oh my gosh, tanja! rim to rim? how long did that take?? amazing!
We hiked down the South Kaibab Trail past Phantom Ranch to the Cottonwood Campground one day and stayed overnight. After that we hiked up the north rim the second day. If you ever do rim to rim, make sure that you go north to south instead of what we did. The North rim is about 1,000 higher than the south rim. The second day was a killer but it was beautiful. My hubby went rim to rim on one day and there are people that actually run it. It's about 21 miles total. I'd love to do it again, but I'm rather out of shape right now. Maybe some day.
