Barnes & Noble Storytime was fun

Friday's storytime and Barnes & Noble at San Tan Village was a success. There were lots of families. I read the story to the kiddos...

... shared some photos of the actual pups, what they looked like then and now...

... and did some drawings for the kids.

It was a great event. J. Paul Deason, the Community Relations Manager for the location, was wonderful to work with.
Thank you J. Paul for all your help.

The book should be out soon. I'll keep you posted. Back to drawing to begin work on book 2.

These guys are hoping to be drifting. Their raft is about to flip on the Colorado River at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. It's been forever since I posted to IF, but I thought this one fits.

Salt and Soap in Dog Fancy

How fun is this? "Salt and Soap" got a little write up in the June Issue of Dog Fancy. Being a besotted dog person myself, I feel so privileged that we got a little mention in what is regarded as the "world's most widely read dog magazine." Way to go Salt and Soap!

Drawing Day 2009

Hey there. Did you all participate in Drawing Day 2009? I am excited to say that I painted, actually inked and washed, all day today. I got three pieces done today. Turbo art time for Tanja. Whohoo... Can't post them yet, but I will as soon as this project is complete.

If you don't know about drawing day yet, checkout www.drawingday.org The idea is for artists to complete 1,000,000 drawings in one day and to share them with the world. Exciting, eh? There are even some sites that allow you to draw online. Happy drawing to you all.
