Great Articles for Illustrators

Happy belated Holidays to all and a Happy New Year.

It's been a very busy month and as you can see I've not posted anything in ages. I came across this link in the Children's Writers and Illustrators group on Facebook and thought that it was great. Take a peek:

This is the newsletter of the SCBWI Illinois Chapter and they have a great Illustrator Tips section.

Happy reading and I'll see you next year.

"There's a Coqui in My Shoe!" is Now in Puerto Rico Borders

Great news! "There's a Coqui in My Shoe!" is now available in the Borders Plaza Las Americas in San Juan, Puerto Rico. That's the largest mall in the Caribbean. The book has been really popular in Puerto Rico because it touches on so many facets of Puerto Rican culture. Next time you're on the Enchanted Isle stop by the Borders and pick up a copy. Here's a link to the store there:

Upcoming Book Signing for Marisa

I just spoke with Marisa, the author of my first book "There's a Coqui in My Shoe!", and she mentioned that she will be having another book signing this Saturday, December the 6th, from 11:00 am to noon. The signing will be at the Moravian Book Shop in Bethlehem, PA and it has been open since 1745, making it the world's oldest bookseller. How neat is that? Here is a link to their site and their address info. Drop by if you are in the area and say hi to Marisa.
