I had started this one a while back, but with the pen and Ink work I've been doing lately I thought it might be fun to finish this one. The original sketch was for an illustration workshop we had here a couple of years ago that was let by Priscilla Burris.

Next Illustrator Meeting January 20th

Hi everyone,

It's time for our next illustrator meeting, the first for the new year. Our next meeting will be:

Tuesday, January 20th
7:00 pm in the evening

We'll meet in the cafe area again at Barnes & Noble at Tempe Marketplace where the 202 and the 101 meet off Rio Salado. Here is more info about the location as well as directions on how to get there:

Bring along any work you would like to show, get feedback on, questions you might have, etc. Also, we’re starting to plan our next illustrators intensive for the fall so think about what you would like to see happen with that. Let me know if you are able to make it so that I know how many people to expect.

Illustration Friday - Resolve

He "resolved" to get his dinner...

Here is a black and white, pen an ink sample with watercolor washes that I just finished. I thought that I could use some more black and white pieces and so came up with this one.
